What is a Guide Checking Stand?

This stand sets up in the file room and makes it possible to check the guides BEFORE production is shut down and the machine locked out. The guide checking stand is intended to give a controlled, perfectly square environment that you can check guides with, without needing to shut the machine down every time you need to check guides.
The stand is designed to check a single cluster of guides at a time and most can check 2 sizes of guides.
