MDI offers Shock Mounts for each type of metal detector we manufacture, each one serving its intended purpose of isolating the metal detector from inherent vibration. When installed properly, shock mounts will greatly reduce vibrations transmitted through the search coil support structure that can cause the metal detector to false trip.
