Developed as an aid to our customers who require product contaminant identification, the MDI Dye Spray System marks the general vicinity of where the metal is located in the product. This system is basic in nature and does not require major modifications to install. Primarily used with the wood products industry, the Dye Spray System will most often times be utilized in conjunction with a metal detector programmed to automatically reset itself once metal has been detected. This signal sent from the metal detector activates the Dye Spray System, marking the contaminated product as it continues downstream where the product will be removed for closer inspection. This system is available in two gallon or five gallon dye capacity and is a pneumatically operated device.
