What is a Guide Checking Stand?
Efficiency is key in today's sawmill world. The growing demand to be more precise AND run production makes simple maintenance a chore. The guide checking stand was designed with that in mind. This stand sets up in the file room and makes it possible to check the guides BEFORE production is shut down and the machine locked out. The guide checking stand is intended to give a controlled, perfectly square environment that you can check guides with, without needing to shut the machine down every time you need to check guides.
The stand is designed to check a single cluster of guides at a time and most can check 2 sizes of guides. This is a custom tool, made specifically for your mill's size and style of guide so when ordering, keep in mind that we'll likely need a lot of information in order to make it to fit your needs.
